Celebrating Authentic Storytellers -Documentary Family Awards

As a documentary family photographer, nothing is better than being able to capture "the" real life.

I'm delighted and honored to have won a place in the "Nothing is Better Than Real Life" category from the Documentary Family Awards' (DFA) 7th international competition.

The purpose of this competition is seeking to celebrate and to recognize the very best documentary family photographers worldwide. It is inspiring to compete with hundreds of amazing authentic storytellers around the world and go up against thousands of photographs.

I was also nominated to be one of the finalists for the "Photo Series" category with the photos I took of one of my students at table tennis training. These photos highlight the photojournalist photography style and art of authentic storytelling.

It is definitely one of the highest awards any documentary photographer can receive.
