Siliang was and is phenomenal, not only did his flight get pushed back due to a storm but he managed to hop on a flight that landed thebday of and he came straight to the wedding preparations for pictures. He has an incredible eye for angles, catching the right moments and effects that bring that high quality dream wedding pictures to your front screen. He is self managed at an event, the type of person you don't even have to go ask him to take photos of a certain group or capturing a time in a picture because he already beat you to it. He also had the pictures ready way ahead of the projected time. I highly recommend him for any kind of event specifically and specially if it is your wedding. Siliang is a wonderful wedding photographer! Not just great for his price (which was very reasonable) but just great overall. Our wedding album truly helps us relive our day, because of his unique style and creativity. For example, at the end of our portrait sessions he spotted the smoke from our caterer's barbecue and had us pose in it, leading to some of our coolest shots.
He is responsive and flexible, and seems to enjoy technical challenges (redwoods, low light, outdoor night shots, etc). He and his assistant shooter worked tirelessly for the rest of the wedding to catch every angle. We got the portraits we needed, but we really wanted a candid style for most of our photos, and Siliang delivered--in fact, he sent several hundred beautiful photos to us just a few weeks after our wedding. I have no regrets choosing him as our photographer!

Siliang takes the most artistic and creative photos! We didn't want the same old posed and awkward photos, we wanted a more natural and artistic approach. We had high expectations and Siliang still impressed us! We have so many fun and unique engagement and wedding photos that we honestly don't know where to begin in picking the best ones. Such a good problem to have! In planning a wedding through COVID, Siliang was also our easiest vendor to work with, he was so flexible with the changes and that was really helpful for us!

We're so glad we chose Siliang to photograph our wedding. He was so easy to work with and his photos are beautiful. Siliang is very organized but also willing to be flexible and go with the flow of the day. We didn't want someone to focus on taking a billion portraits, we preferred more candid shots. My wife & I were looking for a photographer that was more on the fun and creative side as opposed to one of those stuffy boring photographers. If you do not hire this man to be your photographer, doesn't matter what event, you will surely regret it! I first found Siliang on weddingwire.com. His work is truly impressive and nothing like I have ever seen before. Then I found out one of my work colleagues had hired him for her wedding in the past so I decided to book him for mine too. Communication was really easy, and even after i had a few issues with my venue when it didn't come through, he was still able to reserve my wedding date even though I changed it twice. My husband and I got married on 10/8/2019 at SF City Hall. It was so fun and Siliang made it so memorable. I couldn't decide which photos to post. But if you're still looking for a photographer, look no further and book him ASAP

We needed to book a photographer for our wedding. Someone who love his job, but most importantly; great personality and someone you can count on.
I found Siliang Photography on The Knot website. After reading the reviews, I was very interested. I viewed his work on his website and Instagram. The photos were amazing and he also won some awards too. I contacted him via email right away if he would be available for our wedding date. He responded very quickly to go over the cost and plan. After the agreement, we mailed the down payment to reserve.
Throughout the whole process before the wedding, we had some questions. Siliang was very helpful and had a few recommendations to make our wedding day special, but at the same time whatever works best for us. He offered to have another photographer and without charge. Finally, I sent him a timeline to make it easier for all of us.
On our wedding day they arrived early for the hotel, ceremony, and reception. They were never late which was a huge plus! He had so much great ideas for every photo shoot to capture. We brought our french bulldog and he captured many photos of him with his cute tuxedo. Siliang made everything so simple and easy. Not just for us, but for everyone.
In about 6 weeks, our wedding photos were ready. They came out amazing and a lot more than we expected.
I highly recommend on booking Siliang Photography for your wedding day. He does not just take pictures, but creates a story that you would forever cherish.

All these mean he has a differentiated motivation being in this industry than many other photographers. He simply loves documenting special moments in life and cares deeply about his craft.
I worked with him for our wedding at SF city hall, post-wedding photoshoot, and a family reunion on a later date. He is easy and flexible to work with and pleasant to be around. He can be somewhat invisible (metaphorically) in his way of working so you can be your authentic yourself but also trust that his eyes and camera are always on you for the best captures. He can also give good recommendations and directions if you'd like.
I cannot recommend Siliang enough. He has a keen eye for true beauty, and the results are guaranteed stunning.
